Fork Lift Operator Safety-Refresher

This class is designed for the Member who has already completed a United Brotherhood of Carpenters Fork Lift Operator Safety Qualification Training Course. To save lives,OSHA enacted a "Powered Industrial Truck Training"(fork lift) safety regulation requiring construction site fork lift operators to complete a safety training course before operating this type of equipment. This UBC course refreshes the basic forklift safety class that satisfies the training requirements of OSHA. This refresher is designed to address the general safety considerations when using or working around this type of motorized equipment.

Course Length	4 Hours
Designed For Craft	All UBC Crafts
Pre-Requisites	A valid, unexpired, UBC Fork Lift Qualification Card that verifies your prior completion of a UBC Fork Lift Operator Safety Training Class.
Upon Completion	You will renew your qualification as a UBC Qualified Fork Lift Operator.
Certificate Type	This is a qualification issued by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC)
Certificate Expires	Three years from the date of course completion.
Refresher Requirement	Before this qualification expires, another four (4) hour refresher class is required to maintain active status.
