FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND SUPPORT
the class id and password do not work
Try the following:
- Restart your iPad
- Tap the Zoom app and carefully enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
- If step 2 was successful you will be asked to enter the meeting passcode (the passcode is the word online (all lower case letters)
- If step 3 was successful you may see the one of following message's: "Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon" or "Please Wait for the Host to Start this Meeting" you can wait at this screen please be patient it may take several minutes
the ipad won't connect to the zoom session
- Make sure you are connected to Wifi (follow the steps below)
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi. If Wi-Fi is set to OFF, tap the OFF button to turn it on.
- Once Wi-Fi is turned on, it's easy to connect to Wi-Fi, simply tap your Wi-Fi router name (SSID) from the list of available networks.
- Enter your wireless password (WEP/WPA) key.
- Wait a few seconds while your device connects.
- Test the connection by tapping Safari and connect to a website example: ctcnc.org
- Tap the Zoom app and connect to your Meeting
- If none of the above steps work restart your iPad and attempt to login to the Zoom session again see "WHAT ARE SOME BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS" in the FAQ
the ipad is updating
The average incremental update for iOS is about 15 minutes. If your iPad starts updating you should plug the device in, iOS updates need a battery level of at least 50% to successfully update. While the device is updating you should fill out the form above with the a detailed description of the issue. After your iPad is completed updating you can rejoin the class. While waiting for the device to update you can join the meeting using the same Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode on a personal device if you wish

The Zoom app is included on the iPads for your convenience, Zoom meetings can also be joined via the web (Safari) by going to https://zoom.us/join

I AM going to be late joining my scheduled zoom session
Fill out the form above with the a detailed description of why you are late and Join the session as soon as able, You may live a long distance from the Training center where you picked up your device and curriculum or some unforeseen issue arises. Your coordinator will review the details with you. Emails and phone calls may not be returned immediately so It is important that you log into you scheduled class as soon as able. Save documentation of the issue if it is available.
I do not have any Wifi
You can log into you scheduled Zoom session from using a phone hotspot, public Wi-Fi or you can access Wi-Fi at your local training center Parking Lot

- Look from the oblong button on top of your iPad Pro (near the rear camera)
- Press the Top button down at the same time as the volume up or down button
- Release the buttons when you see the power off screen
- Swipe the power slider to turn your iPad off
- Press and hold the top button until the power off slider appears.
- Drag the slider, then wait for 30 seconds for your device to turn off.
- To turn your device back on, press and hold the top button until you see the Apple logo.
THE IPAD IS LOCKED WITH A PASSCODE

THE IPAD DOESNT WORK
IF THE IPAD SEEMS WONT TURN ON OR LOAD TRY THE FOLLOWING TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS:
- PLUG IN THE IPAD TO AN OUTLET THAT HAS BEEN CHECKED FOR POWER
- IF POSSIBLE CHECK THE IPAD BRICK AND CHARGING CORD TO SEE IF THEY ARE FUNCTIONING
